Psychedelic Preparation/Integration
Together, we create a space to deeply explore your intentions for psychedelic work and the insights gained during your journey. My aim is to support you in exploring your shadows, understanding and nurturing your inner parts, and developing a narrative that aligns with your highest goals. We work together to envision the life you desire, identify the steps to achieve it, and uncover any obstacles in your path. Essentially, I support you in evolving into your best self.
We may use a variety of modalities including journalling, oracle cards, mandala creation, SoulCollage™ and nature-based tools. I meet with you before and after your independent psychedelic journey.
Psychedelic Preparation / Integration
Why Psychedelic Preparation/Integration?
Some people choose to embark on their journeys alone. I respect and hold that option sacred, and I'm dedicated to supporting these travelers through preparation and integration. Preparation involves many aspects, and many find it beneficial to collaborate with an experienced guide in planning their journey. Integration helps us process and understand the insights and messages that our inner wisdom reveals during the medicine experience. Psychotherapeutic knowledge can often be invaluable after a medicine session, particularly during the integration phase. Research indicates that those who actively integrate the wisdom gained from their journey experience more lasting outcomes.
Who I work with:
Adults who feel a connection to me through my message
People who have experienced trauma due to domestic violence, childhood experiences, bullying and identity issues as well as those with issues due to mental health challenges.
LGBTQIA+ community
People living in rural communities
What to expect:
We will meet online or in person for hour long sessions or longer if you’d like, much like a typical therapy session. For preparation, we will discuss your intentions, set and setting, psychoeducation on the effects of your chosen substance, dosage, safety issues, develop coping skills such as breathwork, and other pertinent details. For integration we will meet within 72 hours of the end of your medicine journey to begin unpacking and exploring what you return with. We may use talk, writing, art, music, and/or movement to make sense of your journey.
Where can I learn more?
You are invited to have a 20-minute conversation/consultation with me to answer any questions about the process, and if this is a good fit for you. You may also view my resource page.
